After months of rehabilitation, Bono and the U2 crew are gearing up for the start of the 360 Tour European leg. Additionally, the band has announced that the 20 North American dates have been rescheduled for the Spring/Summer 2011. All U2 tickets for original tour dates will be honored. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase.

U2’s 360 Tour, which was scheduled to begin in May of 2010, had to be postponed to due Bono undergoing emergency back surgery. Bono was injured during the band’s tour preparation training and was admitted to a specialist neurosurgery unit in a Munich hospital.

U2 was originally scheduled to play the Angels Stadium on June 6th & 7th. The concert has been rescheduled for June 17 & 18, 2011.

Paul McGuinness, U2’s manager, released an official statement thanking fans for their continual support, “We’re delighted the dates are rescheduled and in all the same venues we originally planned to play. It hasn’t been easy to accomplish this and I’d like to thank the managers of the many venues and sports teams across North America and Live Nation Global Touring for their help and cooperation in making this complex new plan possible. Above all we want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us. They’re the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded by their audience.”

The Angels sent pitcher Joe Saunders and three prospects back to the Diamondbacks.

Haren’s addition instantly puts Los Angeles back in the picture in the American League West.

Suddenly, the Angels appear to be the team to beat despite their deficit in the standings to the Texas Rangers.

While no one can say how the prospects might turn out, this looks like a fleecing by the Angels on the surface.

After 24 games to open the 2010 season and the defense of their AL West title, the Los Angeles Angels were right where they started.

At .500 in the standings.

Los Angeles went 12-12 in the opening month of the season, riding the strong play of two veterans. Jered Weaver went 3-0 with a 2.53 ERA in five starts, and Kendry Morales hit .315 with six home runs and 16 RBIs.

But it wasn’t easy getting to .500 after the Angels dropped seven of their first 10, falling to 3-7 on the season after a loss to New York on April 15. That tough start included a four-game losing streak after an opening-day victory over Minnesota.

The Angels found their stride in the middle of the month. After the 3-7 start, the Angels swept a three-game series at Toronto and won twice at home against Detroit for a five-game winning streak.

Los Angeles started May with a loss to the Tigers, falling 3-2.
